The proximity sensor can detect objects in the immediate vicinity of the “sensitive side” of the sensor, without having to actually make physical contact. The absence of mechanical actuator mechanisms and physical contact between sensor and object makes these sensors extremely reliable.The sensor detects the position of the ON/OFF valve, sending the signal to the relevant valve status alarm system.This sensor can only be used on P/AVB, AVB (no VAC) area valves and 2nd stage units with area valves.
